*mood* textile banner, 2023
This banner is a nod to all those unhelpful positive mental attitude posts.. some days (especially when living with loss) it just isn’t the day. It was made whilst I was in a terrible storm of a mood, juggling anxiety about my career as a freelancer, with ocd logic, covid fog brain and a self-induced social media stress to be ‘seen’ doing things. It was made with a few melt downs and the help of my partner, Chris to talk me off the edge and onto the sewing machine. Like...it wont win the turner prize or anything but it helped me in the moment and was very much the mood :’)
