'live laugh love D:' is a textile work which uses meme-like energy to tap into the contemporary current mood, by asking the timeless question, 'how am i meant to live laugh love in these conditions????' Addressing the cultural climate and literal climate crisis of living in modern post-brexit, late-capitalist crumbling Britain, as well as the confusing inner angst of working in a culture where the arts are perpetually underpaid and undervalued - but we are told that images and the content we create hold more value than our bank accounts will ever dream of. The banner is for protest as well as the walls of a gallery. It was recently re-worked and marched at XR's 'Big One'.
