The Idea Raffle, 2015

As part of my residency with The Art House, Wakefield I ran an Idea Raffle, designed as an alternative to the artist crit, an event to provocate new ideas and eat crisps:

To enter the raffle, write down an idea on the reverse of this card. This can be anything, from the groundbreaking to the dreary; unrealised and unresolved ideas for artworks, the things that don’t fit into your practice or fit into your schedule to make. Each idea that enters into the raffle will be shaken up in the tombola. You will then ‘win’ someone else’s idea in return, at random. The more you donate, the more you get back. The ideas might go anywhere or nowhere from here, forming new works, new conversations.
