‘Siri, stop the patriarchy’, e-zine, 2023

‘Siri, stop the patriarchy is a zine commissioned by British Textile Biennale to mark the launch of Lancashire Textile Gallery as a website. I was invited to make work in response to a piece from their collection, and was paired with a Suffrage banner made by one of Lancashire’s famous feminists, Selina Cooper. The publication includes essays, memes archive images and interviews with different generations of feminists (including my 3 year old niece) around gender equality, our rights to protest, fast-fashion and what feminism means to me as a non-binary person. It is encouraged to be downloaded and shared.
