︎ ‘My hero is....’ residency and workshops at The Turnpike ︎ ︎︎ ︎
In 2022 I was one of 5 artists in residence at The Turnpike Gallery in Leigh, as part of their exhibtion ‘Creating Space: Imagine, Make, Play’. During the course of the residency I ran workshops with local schools and community groups around alternative heroes - who is given permission by society to be celebrated and who do we actually idolise? The outcomes of these workshops where then hung in the space, animating the exhibtion as the workshops developed.
